One of the best things we did was hire Denise Ellenbecker of Elegant by Design, LLC, to coordinate our daughter's wedding on August 19, 2006. Our daughter is an architect, always working with a vision of design and perfection. Denise is an "architect of wedding coordination" offering professional expertise when needed. She's quick to respond, extremely organized, and one of the nicest vendors we encountered. Being able to hand everything over to her several days before the wedding gave us a comfort level that any bride would welcome. Having family members or the wedding party set up guest favors, arrange table centerpieces with flowers, decorate ceilings, etc. is very difficult to do. Giving everything to Denise, we knew when the reception began, it would be just as our daughter envisioned it, but without the stress of having to do things ourselves. We were so confident in her professionalism, that we gave her our blessing to adjust, if necessary, if things didn’t look right when the ballroom was decorated. We trusted her explicitly.

The highlight was when she returned to the Paper Valley at midnight and took everything down, from the flower centerpieces on the tables, to the ceiling lighting. She's amazing!

I'll end with this. As the wedding day drew closer, our daughter had a few quick changes that we would pass off to Denise. Denise always responded with “Not a problem!” and “I’m happy to change that for you.” Our daughter’s comment throughout it all was: "I love Denise, nothing scares her!"  A true professional and we couldn’t have done it without her. She’s an asset to the wedding profession and this community.
